  Teaming up for this journey from the harsh plains to the Pacific coast and back are legendary Winnipeg-based emcee JOHN SMITH (Peanuts and Corn/Marathon of Dope); from the mayor of Regina to Canada's next big thing, now out of Vancouver, DEF 3 (Ship Records); underground head-banger rappers, bringing the rawness from the gritty streets of Winnipeg ROB CROOKS and MIKEL RONDEAU (Foultone Records); and of course, backing everyone up on the ones-and-twos, the prolific producer extraordinaire, from Thunder Bay via Winnipeg DJ KUTDOWN (Foultone Records).
  
  We're packing up the van full of merchandise, party-favours and hip-hop heads and taking this crazy-train from Regina all the way to Vancouver and back again, to let everyone on the way know about the dope hip-hop that continues to come out of our small corner of the world! So bring out your grandma, your dog and your next-door neighbour, and let's show them that hip-hop still goes hard in Western Canada!

  The Future is Coming!
  
  As the new year steadily approaches, Magnum KI looks towards the future! It’s almost two-thousand-and-eleven, and we are already getting ready to conquer the new frontiers that lay ahead of us!
  
  To celebrate this scary and exciting new adventure into the unknown, Magnum KI is throwing a dance-heavy, fun-laden super-party at the Pyramid Cabaret on January 29th. Of course, everyone is welcome to come shake off any anxieties they may be having about this oncoming new and scary time in world history.
  
  They’re putting computer chips in people’s brains; Japan is sending rocket ships to the Andromeda galaxy; Richard Branson holds special hotel-pool parties on the dark side of the moon; and Magnum KI has new material they want to show off to their home town crowd in Winnipeg!
  
  To sweeten the deal, and make it all even more super fun, Magnum KI will be inviting their good friends DJ Co-op and Cyclist to help them tame this wild future, with heavy bass-lines, driving drums and general dance-floor rocking shit! (You can just come and chill too.) Only five bucks to get in, and a whole robot-ruling future lifetime of regret to stave-off. Hopefully, we will see you there!!!!

  On October 18th, the Krazy Kingz are throwing a fundraiser event to send Magnum KI to the Western Canadian Music Awards. With the help of friends Sleeping Giants and Influence, Magnum KI promise to leave everything on the stage before heading out west to Kelowna, BC for the televised award show on the 24th. Since it is a Monday, the show will start and end early, with DJs Kutdown and Kinetik (aka the Krazy Kingz) playing from midnight 'til 2AM. Hopefully, we'll see you there!
